Popular 22 Inches LG Tvs

These are the popular models.

1.) LG 22LB470A 22-inch TV: N56,550

  • 768 × 1,366 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 60 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

The LG 22LB470A is one of the most popular 22-inch LG TVs in the country. If the store close to you has only a few 22-inch models, this product is most likely going to be one of them.

The product comes with a resolution of 768 × 1,366 pixels. And this is one of the things that makes the product one of the most affordable.

This display resolutions also means the TV is not ideal to be used as a monitor. So if you plan using a TV as a monitor, you should stay away from this item.

However, if you are just interested in a product that is okay for watching TV, the LG 22LB470A should be a great choice.

2.) LG 22LH2000 22-inch TV: N48,750

  • 768 × 1,366 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 60 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

While the LG 22LB470A is what I’d ordinarily recommend most people, there would people who’d find it too expensive. And if you’re one of such people, the LG 22LH2000 is an item you’d be okay with.

This product has general specs and features similar to the former. But as you would expect, there are some aspects where the former is much better. However, even though I stated that the former is better is some aspects, it doesn’t mean the LG 22LH2000 is terrible.

The LG 22LH2000 is furthermore not a smart TV, and neither is the former. However, if you buy an Android TV box [or whichever box you like], you can watch streamed videos on any of two TVs.

As stated earlier, LG’s 22-inch TVs are scarce in Nigeria. But this product happens to be one of those you’re most likely to come across, if you find a store having many 22-inch TVs. In short, finding it is quite possible.

3.) LG 22LH454A 22-inch TV: N63,200

  • 1,080 × 1,920 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 300 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

The televisions presented so far, come with pixel densities of about 70 ppi. And this means you shouldn’t expect an astonishing display quality.

However, if you would like an impressive display quality, a product like this is what you should be looking at.

The LG 22LH454A comes with a display having a resolution of 1,080 × 1,920 pixels. This resolution leaves the TV with a pixel density of about 100 ppi.

If you have a good understanding of the relationship between pixel density and display quality, you’d have no problem seeing how better this TV’s display would be.

A pixel density of about 100 ppi also means it would be okay to use this product as a monitor. In other words, this is one of the 22-inch LG TVs you can use as a monitor.

However, the pixel density of the LG 22LH454A is not the only thing that makes ideal to be used as a monitor.

Another thing that makes this product ideal to be used as a monitor, is its refresh rate. The TV comes with an impressive refresh rate of 300 Hz.

With a refresh rate this high, there would be no problem when connected to a computer where heavy games are being played.

4.) LG 22LH458A 22-inch TV: N66,300

  • 1,080 × 1,920 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 300 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

While the LG 22LH454A is one of LG’s most popular and most impressive 22-inch TVs, there is another product I’d recommend, if can spare an additional N3,000.

This product in question is the LG 22LH458A. This television has the same general specs and feature as the former. However, when it comes to build quality and design, I find this product to be more impressive.

Latest LG 22-inch Television

These are the recently announced LG tvs.

1.) LG 22LB4510 22-inch TV: N42,900

  • 768 × 1,366 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 60 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

The TVs discussed above were released some years ago. In other words, they don’t have the latest versions of the technologies used in them.

So if you want a product coming with the latest versions of technologies used in it and you don’t mind ordering on foreign e-commerce platforms, then this is one of the TVs I would recommend.

This TV is ideal for people who would have ordinarily opted in for any of the first and seconds items presented in this article. The LG 22LB4510 has the same major specs and features as the first and second items in this article.

With the television selling for just about N43,000, I’d consider it one of the best value for money.

You should also note that it’s the cheapest of all TVs in this article. However, if you decide this is what you want, don’t forget that getting it could be stressful.

2.) LG 22LF4520 22-inch TV: N48,750

  • 768 × 1,366 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 60 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

Here comes another product you can consider, if you’re on a low budget and want one of LG’s latest 22-inch TVs.

There are some editions of this appliance which were released some years ago, but the 2020 edition of the product is what I’m referring to, in this article.

It’s of course not an ideal product to be used as a monitor. But you should find it suitable for watching TV. It is also of course not a smart TV.

However, you can get an Android TV Box, or an any TV box you like, to stream online videos.

3.) LG 22LF480A 22-inch TV: N70,200

  • 1,080 × 1,920 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 300 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

Of all TVs in this article, the LG 22LF480A is the most impressive. It shares the same specs and features as the 22LH454A and the 22LH458A.

However, it features the more recent versions of the technologies used in them.

For instance, the LG 22LF480A comes with a more recent version of the HDMI technology, as well as a more recent version of the USB technology.

While this appliance the most impressive in this content, it isn’t a smart TV. It has no Amazon Alexa support.

It has no Wi-Fi support, or any of those cool things you’d expect from a smart TV. And even though the product doesn’t come with things like these, I wouldn’t blame the manufacturer.

Most buyers of 22-inch TVs don’t demand these things, so we can’t blame the manufacturer.

4.) LG 22LJ4540 22-inch TV: N54,600

  • 1,080 × 1,920 pixels; 16:9 aspect ratio; 120 Hz refresh rate; One HDMI port; One USB port; Built-in speakers

The LG 22LF480A is not a product that would disappoint people interested a latest TV which is also impressive.

However, not everyone would be able to afford it easily. So if you want a cool and latest product but can’t afford anything close to the LG 22LF480A, you should consider the LG 22LJ4540.

The LG 22LJ4540 is much better than the first and second items discussed in the “Latest TV section”, and at the same time affordable.

The product comes with a pixel density of about 100 ppi, so using it as a monitor should be no problem.

However, if you’re the kind who plays heavy games on their system, you may not enjoy the monitor, as it’s refresh rate is just 120 Hz.

Final Note

All TVs presented in this article are okay. In other words, you don’t have to bother yourself about quality. What you should rather think about, is which of them would be suitable.

Another thing I feel I should state is that all the TVs in this article are flat-screen TVs. 22-inch TVs are too small to be curved, so you shouldn’t even think about it.

You want bigger display, then the 42″ and 43″ samsung tvs are what you should check out as they also produce great color while the hisense 55″ tvs offers even bigger display.

Lastly, none of the TVs presented in this content are smart TVs. The TVs however support the use of TV boxes.

So if you want to stream videos online, you’d have to get a TV box and other required things.

Your turn. What do you think about Lg 22 inch tv price in Nigeria? Worth it or you will be on the look out for better deals.
